Ashantigold coach Thomas Duah backs underfire Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu

Interim Ashantigold coach Thomas Duah has urged Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak not to sack underfire coach Samuel Boadu.

The Phobians have had a slow start to the Ghana Premier League season losing one and drawing there after four matches.

The miners inflicted a 2-0 win over the Phobians to deepen their woes last weekend but according to Duah, who masterminded to help Ashantigold defeat Hearts, Samuel Boadu has done nothing wrong and does not deserve sack.

“I have seen what Samuel Boadu has done wrong which deserve sack. He has drawn with WAFA, Aduana Stars and Legon Cities and if they call for the head of the coach I don’t think it is the best”

“Picking draw from matches is not bad and they should not use the Ashantigold defeat to sack him. Hearts of Oak is a good side” he said.

Hearts of Oak game against Berekum Chelsea in matchday 5 has been postponed due to their participation in Africa.

They play host to JS Saoura from Algeria on Sunday in the CAF Confederations Cup.
