Ashgold SC attacker Seth Osei rally teammates to unite for upcoming Kotoko clash
Ashanti Gold SC attacker, Seth Osei has emphasised that the only way the side can defeat Asante Kotoko is by uniting and working together.
Nicknamed the Miners, the struggling team from Obuasi will in the upcoming weekend take on the Porcupine Warriors in a matchday 12 encounter of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
In what will be a very tough meeting, Seth Osei admits that Ashgold SC will struggle against the opponent.
According to him, his teammates must unite and work hard if they want to secure points from the game.
“Kotoko is a great team and they are currently doing well. Beating them will not be an easy task. There must be unity and teamwork to be able to beat them.
“We have to put all issues, misunderstandings and complaints aside and focus on the match. This is the only way we can beat them,” Seth Osei told Akoma FM in an interview.
He continued, “We will resume training today after our defeat to Medeama and with confidence and determination, we can surprise Kotoko with a win come Sunday.”
“The supporters should still have confidence in us and rally behind us and surely Ashgold will bounce back strongly.”
The Ashanti derby between Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold SC will be played on Sunday, January 9, 2022.
