Ashgold’s Osei Agyemang targets Ebusua Dwarfs’ scalp
AshantiGold SC defender Richard Osei Agyemang says the club’s target of winning the league title at the end of the season remains intact.
The Miners have suffered a dip in form after failing to win any of their last three games. The Obuasi based side have picked just 2 points from their last 3 league matches against Medeama SC, Legon Cities and Asante Kotoko.
The situation has seen them slip in the title race as they currently trail league leaders Karela United (21 points), by 4 points with a game in hand.
The club next travels to Cape Coast to face Ebusua Dwarfs in a Ghana Premier League week 12 encounter.
Speaking ahead of the game, Richard Osei Agyemang is confident AshantiGold will beat Dwarfs to keep their title chasing dreams intact.
“The expectation is to win the league, so we will make sure as we play away, we will secure all the 3 points before returning to Obuasi,” Osei Agyemang told reporters.
