Asumah Abubakar opens season account in Lugano’s away win against Servette
Ghanaian forward, Asumah Abubakar-Ankrah scored scored his first goal for the season in FC Lugano’s 0-2 away win against Servette FC on Sunday afternoon.
Abubakar scored his side’s second of the day to cap of a good performance on the day.
Mattia Bottani broke the deadlock of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up two minutes after the recess.
Abubakar-Ankrah doubled Lugano’s lead from the center of the box into the top right corner to make it 2-0 after 49 minutes.
The attacker was withdrawn on the 80th minute after helping his team to jump into two goal lead.
Asumah has now scored a goal in two matches
for the Black and Whites outfit.
Lugano moves to 5th position ahead of Servette FC in 6th with their first victory of the season after two matches.
