Vida Essel-LampteyAgent of Ghana Black Star’s player, Christian Atsu, Nana Sechere has accuse Hatayspor of not actively involved in the search of the player whose goal saw the team recorded a win against Kasimpasa on Sunday, a day before the earthquake.
Speaking a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com, he said the club is unfortunately not on the ground with them.
The agent who have been in Turkey and at the disaster scene for days now has therefore, appealed to the club to assist them with additional resources to speed up efforts to reach the player whose exact room he said have been found.
Nana Sechere said club’s position and influence could be of great help in the search for the player.
“It is unfortunate that the club is not on the ground with us, side by side, in the search for Christian. Their position and influence, accompanied with their local knowledge would be extremely helpful. We implore the President of the club and mayor of Hatay, Lütfü Savaş to provide additional resources to speed up the rescue efforts as a priority”.
Atsu’s agent made the comment in his latest update on the search of the player following Monday, February, 6, earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
Things are moving incredibly slow and as a result of that many rescues are being delayed, and lives are being lost due to the lack of resources available to the workers. It is unfortunate that the club is not on the ground with us, side by side, in the search for Christian.
