Agent of Ghana Black Star’s player, Christian Atsu, Nana Sechere has accuse Hatayspor of not actively involved in the search of the player whose goal saw the team recorded a win against Kasimpasa on Sunday, a day before the earthquake.

Speaking a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com, he said the club is unfortunately not on the ground with them.

The agent who have been in Turkey and at the disaster scene for days now has therefore, appealed to the club to assist them with additional resources to speed up efforts to reach the player whose exact room he said have been found.

Nana Sechere said club’s position and influence could be of great help in the search for the player.

“It is unfortunate that the club is not on the ground with us, side by side, in the search for Christian. Their position and influence, accompanied with their local knowledge would be extremely helpful. We implore the President of the club and mayor of Hatay, Lütfü Savaş to provide additional resources to speed up the rescue efforts as a priority”.

Atsu’s agent made the comment in his latest update on the search of the player following Monday, February, 6, earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

Ghana’s top star and Former Chelsea and Newcastle United star, Christian Atsu together with several others have been trapped in rubles following an earthquake which hit Turkey and Syria on Monday February 6.

Described as a massive aftershock with a magnitude of 7.5, the earthquake hit Turkey’s south hours after the original quake and affected mostly southern Turkey and northern Syria.

Atsu joins Hatayspor in September, scores on Sunday before the earthquake

Christian Atsu joined the Turkish Süper Lig club Hatayspor on September last year on an initial one-year contract with option for a further year.

Sunday, February 5, prior to the disaster, Atsu, a Former Black Stars winger opened his scoring account in the 1 win defeat against Kasimpasa.

So far 35, 000 death have been reported in the 7.8 magnitude quake which has taking Turkey and Syria by storm.

Dozens have sustained injuries while same are yet to be found including Atsu.

Rescue operations are still underway to find more survivors of the devastating incident.
