Barnieh eyeing CAFCL next season with Hearts

Hearts of Oak forward, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has revealed his desire is to play in the Caf Champions League next season with the Phobians.

Hearts have enjoyed a brilliant run of form under Samuel Boadu since joining the club from Medeama; a run which has seen them leapfrog rivals Kotoko to go top of the table with goal difference separating the two sides.

According to Barnieh who won the CAF U-20 Youth Championship with the Black Satellites, everyone at the club’s desire is to win the Ghana Premier League this season to be able to play in the Champions League next season.

“We want to win the Premier League and that is the objective for this season and we are slowly getting there,” he told GTV Sports Plus.

“I want to play in the Caf Champions League next season and by that, we have to win the league title.

“I know it will not come easy but we will work as a team to achieve it,” he added.
