Belgian side KV Kortrijk sign CK Akonnor’s son Charles Jesaja
Belgian outfit KV Kortrijk have announced the signing of the son of CK Akonnor Charles Jesaja Akonnor.
The attacker signed a three-year deal with the club following a successful negotiations.
The 21-year-old striker joined the Belgian side from German Bundesliga giants, VFL Wolfsburg where he played for 7 years.
Jesaja is a German born footballer expressed his delight after putting pen on paper on Wednesday.
“I am very happy to join KV Kortrijk. It is a new beginning for me and I look forward to helping this team do well this season and for the period I will be here,” Jesaja told Omasports exclusively after signing his contract with the Belgian club.
“They have shown great belief in me and I am glad to be able to start again here after a difficult period in my career,” he added
Jesaja is still eligible to feature for the Black Stars despite representating Germany at the Youth level.
His father CK Akonnor is currently the head coach of the Black Stars.
