Belgian side RSC Anderlecht complete the permanent signing of Majeed Ashimeru
Belgium giants RSC Anderlecht have completed the permanent signing of Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru from Red Bull Salzburg.
The midfielder after a successful loan spell with the Belgian Jupiler League side has signed a four-year deal with the club.
The transfer fee is reported to be in the region €2.5 million plus other bonuses.
The 23-year-old joined on an initial six-month month loan from the Austrian giants in January 2021.
Ashimeru managed to make 12 appearances for the Anderlecht in all competitions and scored two goals.
Anderlecht is expected to make official announcement of the deal in the coming days.
Ashimeru moved from Ghana Premier League side WAFA SC to Salzburg in August 2017 and has spent loan spells at Austria Lustenau, Wolfsberger AC and FC St. Gallen.
