Belgian side Waasland-Beveren complete signing of Ghanaian forward Eric Ocansey from K.V Kortrijk on loan
Belgian side, Waasland-Beveren have completed the signing of Ghanaian forward Eric Ocansey from K.V. Kortrijk on transfer deadline day.
Ocansey joins the club on a six-month loan deal after successful negotiations and passing his medical.
The 24-year-old left the Aspire Academy for Belgian side Eupen in 2015. Through a partnership with this Qatari academy, talents were able to experience professional football in Belgium.
In four seasons, the attacker played 119 games for the Pandas, scored sixteen goals, and gave ten assists.
Ocansey left Eupen and moved to the other side of the country to play for KV Kortrijk in 2019. For this club, he played in 63 games and scored four times.
He has struggled for game time and that resulted in his move to the second-tier side.
