Belgium: Beerschot star Tom Pietermaat showers praises on Ghanaian youngster Abraham Okyere
Beerschot veteran Tom Pietermaat has showered praises on the club’s new signing Abraham Okyere.
Okyere, 19, plays as a central midfielder and recently joined the Belgian top-flight side from GPL side Inter Allies.
In an interview, Beerschot stated that Okyere could turn out to be a hit soon.
“He immediately reminded me of Ismaila Coulibaly. Abraham also humbly entered the locker room and was initially very quiet. The nice thing about our group is that everyone quickly feels welcome,” he says in GvA .
“Not only me, but also the other boys immediately take the newcomers in tow. We want those boys to feel at home, so that they can fully develop their talent here. When you see how calm Abraham is already at the ball, then you know that it can become a very big one, just like Ismaila Coulibaly,” he concluded.
Okyere has signed a two-year deal with his new club
