Black Stars newbie Daniel-Kofi Kyereh reacts to St Pauli’s win over Jahn Regensburg in Germany
Ghanaian forward Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has reacted to St Pauli’s win over Jahn Regensburg in the German Bundesliga II.
St Pauli inflicted a 2-0 win over their opponents in matchday 5 of the league with Kofi-Kyereh assisting Austrian forward Guido Burgstaller brace.
After the game, the Ghanaian forward disclosed they showed from the blast of the whistle that they wanted to win with the support from their fans.
“We showed from the first minute what the plan is here and now. We have impressively shown that with the support of our fans we want to get everything on the field and keep the three points here.”
The 25-year-old has contributed four goals, scoring one and providing three assists in five games.
He has been invited by Charles Akonnor to help the Black Stars beat Ethiopia and South Africa.
The games are 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers scheduled for September 3 and 6 respectively.
