Black Stars to begin camping in Doha ahead of 2021 AFCON
Doha, Qatar will be the camping base for the Black Stars of Ghana ahead of the 2021 African Cup of Nations which will be staged in Cameroon.
According to the Ghana Football Association the squad will be in Doha for a period of three weeks
The AFCON tournament is scheduled for Cameroon from January 9 to February 6, 2022.
While in Doha, Qatar the Black Stars will play three international friendly games against Algeria, one African Cup of Nations bound team and one club side.
The Black Stars will depart Doha for Yaounde, Cameroon on Friday, January 7, 2022 to take on the rest of Africa at the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The Black Stars are in search of their first Africa Cup of Nations title since 1982 and Coach Milovan has been tasked to end the forty–two year trophy drought in Cameroon.
Ghana have been paired with Morocco, Gabon and Comoros in group C of the TotalEnergies 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
