Breaking News: James Essilfie resigns as Medeama CEO after 13-years

Medeama SC Chief Executive Officer, James Essilfie has resigned from his post, Footballghana.com can report.

He leaves the club after 13-year spell with the Tarkwa based club.

The Yellow and Mauves has been poor in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League campaign losing one and drawing one in the process.

They have picked just a point from a possible six points after two matches into the season.

The outgoing CEO led the club to annex the MTN FA Cup title twice and played in the CAF Confederation Cup on two occasions, featuring in the group stage in 2016.

He played a huge role in the club’s rise in the domestic top-flight.
