CAF Champions League play-offs: Hearts of Oak eye win over WAC of Morocco in first leg
Communications Director of Hearts of Oak, Opare Addo has said that his side is prepared for the game against Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club in the first leg of the CAF Champions League play-offs.
The Phobians come up against one of the consistent sides in the CAF Champions League in recent times in this preliminary round at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Ghanaian giants set up the tie after eliminating Guinean side CI Kamsar with a 2-0 win at the Accra Sports Stadium last month.
Hearts of Oak last played in the CAF Champions League group stage in 2006 and will hope to progress to the money zone.
In an interview with Aben FM in Koforidua, Opare Addo disclosed his outfit has intensify their training and is confident the players are ready for the task ahead.
“Everything is going well for us and we will continue to intensify our training in order for us to be battle ready for WAC and bring the smiles onto the faces of every Ghanaian”
“We working towards victory and we are very much hopeful in the players and definitely victory will be ours on Sunday” he said.
Hearts of Oak will play host to WAC at the Accra Sports Stadium at 3pm.
