CAF postpones 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers
The Confederation of African Football, CAF has taken a decision to postpone the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The continental football governing body took the decision this week following deliberations by its Emergency Committee.
The decision was taken after careful observation of the Covid-19 situation across the continent and its likely implications on rolling out the world cup qualifiers in the June International Window, a CAF statement read.
As a result, the initial matches that were set to take place next month have been shifted to the next immediate window which is September.
