CAF U-20 Golden boy, Fatawu Issahaku handed Black Stars debut against Zimbabwe

Sensational Steadfast FC attacker, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku is set for his Black Stars debut in the 2022 World Cup Qualifier against Zimbabwe after he was named in the starting line up.

The 17-year-old midfielder was one of the brightest spots in the  Division One League for Tamale-based club Steadfast FC.

The young midfielder dazzled at the 2021 African Youth Championships where he scored 2 stellar goals and won the golden boy award at the end of the tournament.

Fatawu was part of the Black Stars squad that was called up for the June Friendlies against Morocco and Ivory Coast but did not get some minutes in either of the games.

Ghana will be looking to bounce back to winning ways in their 2022 World Cup Qualifying campaign after defeat against 2010 World Cup hosts South Africa in their last outing.
