Cameroonian striker George Mfegue to miss Asante Kotoko away tie against Eleven Wonders
Cameroonian import, George Mfegue will miss Asante Kotoko’s away tie against Eleven Wonders, Kumasi based Akoma FM has reported.
In the matchday 21 games, the Porcupine Warriors who are sitting top of the league summit will be hosted at the Ohene Ameyaw Park on Monday.
According to the reports, the skilful winger sustained a knock at training in the course of the week, and till now hasn’t recovered for their next game.
Mfegue is expected to be out for weeks due to the extent of the injury.
This will serve as a huge blow for coach Prosper Narteh following his exploits and great ability to take on defenders but is most likely he will be replaced by Dickson Afoakwa
Kotoko are still the league leaders of the Ghana Premier League with 44 points after 20 matches.
The game has been scheduled to kick off at 15:00GMT.
