CAMP NEWS: Felix Annan to start against Karela United
Asante Kotoko Captain Felix Annan is set to start in the all important Ghana Premier League fixture against Karela United on Wednesday.
The Porcupine Warriors host the Nzema-based side at the Len Clay Stadium, Obuasi seeking to kill two birds with one stone.
After beating them in the first round fixture, Kotoko will eye the double over Karela while also climbing atop the Ghana Premier League table with a win.
To ensure this, Coach Mariano Barreto has opted to leave the recently erratic Razak Abalora out of his squad, selecting two goalkeepers in Annan and Kwame Baah.
Annan has been on the fringes in recent times after an injury in the club’s second game of the season restricted him to the sidelines.
On his return, Abalora who was then in superb form had taken over the the role as number one goalkeeper.
Annan is expected to get the nod against Karela following the backlash that have followed Abalora’s recent performances for club and country.
