Coach Milovan Rajevac will be a failure - JE Sarpong

Milovan Rajevac will fail as coach of the Black Stars, according to experienced coach JE Sarpong.

At a press conference on Friday, the Serbian coach was reappointed to lead Ghana for the second time. He will be supported by Borussia Dortmund’s Otto Addo and former Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Luv FM, the former Kotoko and Hearts of Oak coach revealed his unhappiness with the Serbian’s comeback, claiming that he will fail in his second spell with the Black Stars.

“He ‘Milovan Rajevac’ can’t do anything. He will be a failure. He is only coming to take money and go.”

Rajevac was named African Coach of the Year in 2010 during his first stint as Ghana’s coach, following strong performances at the AFCON and World Cup.

Coach Milo made a mark when he led the Black Stars to the World Cup quarterfinals in South Africa in 2010.

A few months previously, he guided Ghana to the final of the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola, where they were defeated by Egypt.
