Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum rewards Kotoko players GH¢4,000 for beating Aduana Stars

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have confirmed their gaffer Prosper Narteh on Saturday gifted his players four thousand Ghana cedis for beating Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

Prosper Narteh had promised to gift the players the aforementioned present if they won, and the gesture was in fulfilment of that pledge according to asantekotokofc.com

After five draws and six defeats in 11 league visits to the NAB Park, the Porcupines defied the odds to record their first-ever win over Aduana Stars, beating them 2-0 with goals from George Mfegue and Richmond Lamptey in both halves of the game.

“I believe in rewarding hard work”, Prosper Narteh said as he handed the money to captain, Abdul Ganiyu in the team bus. “You worked so hard and stayed disciplined throughout the game.”

“As I promised you before the game, I am giving you the GHs 4000 as a show of my appreciation for what you have done. Continue making me proud and I would also keep showering you with money.”

Kotoko will return to action on Sunday when they host Ashantigold at the Baba Yara Stadium.
