Real Mallorca Midfielder Baba Iddrisu trained for the first time with the Black Stars today after arriving at the team’s camp in Doha.
The Black Stars are based in Doha as the team continually prepares for the 2021 African Cup of Nations tournament which will be hosted in Cameroon.
The team has been tasked to go and win the ultimate and end the country’s 40-year wait for an AFCON trophy and are working assiduously in Doha to achieve their target.
Spain-based midfielder Baba Iddrisu trained with his colleagues for the first time today as the team nears a full-house. The midfielder has been a key figure in Mallorca’s La Liga campaign this season and is expected to contribute immensely to the Black Stars AFCON campaign as well.
Baba Idrissu together with his colleagues were taken through their paces by the technical team of the Black Stars as they continue to fine-tune preparations for the AFCON.
The Black Stars will begin their AFCON campaign on Monday against the Atlas Lions of Morrocco in Yaounde.
