Estoril Praia attacker Abdul Aziz Yakubu donates to boyhood club
Estoril Praia Attacker Abdul Aziz Yakubu has donated to his childhood club Zaytuna Babies FC in Tamale.
The budding forward donated set of jerseys to the club as a way of paying back to the community.
Yakubu upon his return to Ghana for holidays made the donation at the club’s training grounds on the Thursday.
Yakubu had a season to remember in Portugal scoring 12 goals in 24 League games to help Estoril Praia to qualify to the Portugese top-flight League.
He started his football career at the Tamale based Zaytuna Babies, before joining Division Two side Charity Stars.
Yakubu then joined FC Vizela in 2016 before signing for Vitoria Guimareas.
He is currently playing on-loan at Estoril Praia where the loan will end in the summer of 2023.
