Ethiopia 1-1 Ghana: Black Stars players rated

The Black Stars ended their 5th game in the World Cup qualifiers with a draw during their travel against Ethiopia.

Andre Ayew gave the team the lead in the first half but Ethiopia levelled the scores in the second period thanks to an error from Joseph Aidoo.

Ghana are now level with South Africa on points but have to win their final game to stand a chance of advancing to the next stage.

Joseph Wollacott-6

Wollacott didn’t have much to do during the game and is not to be blamed for the goal.

Abdul Rahman-6

He was quiet for some parts of the game but showed an attacking impetus when given the opportunity.

Joseph Aidoo-5

The Celta Vigo man didn’t have the best of days as he made a huge error leading to the equalizer.

Daniel Amartey-6

Amartey was largely strong on the challenge, keeping the rest of the opposition at bay.

Andy Yiadom-6

A blistering comeback for the right back who has been injured for a while. Although signs of fatigue was there, his return was a welcome one.

Iddrisu Baba-7

Baba took on the more defensive role well, stopping attacks that came his well. He is cementing his place in the squad.

Andre Ayew-8

The captain executed a brilliant free kick to give his team the lead and was superb for most parts of the game.

Kamaldeen Sulemana-7

The winger was bright for most parts of the game, tormenting the opposition defenders.

Mohammed Kudus-7

The Ajax man was brilliant as always with the ball. He still needs to fully take control of games however.

Jordan Ayew-6

The Crystal Palace man had a relatively quiet day. He did however, make some effort on the defensive end.

Boakye Yiadom-5

Yiadom had not featured for the team in a while and it showed in his performance as he struggled to make a real impact.
