Everton chase midfielder Iddrisu Baba
Everton FC is interested in signing RCD Mallorca’s Iddrisu Baba in January.
Baba, a 25-year-old defensive midfielder, has featured in 15 games for Mallorca this season, starting 13.
Iddrisu Baba has been likened to his fellow countryman, midfielder Thomas Partey, who will join Arsenal FC in 2020.
The Black Stars player has three years left on his contract and is only worth £2.25 million.
According to sources in Spain, Benitez has requested Everton to bring in Baba, and the club is aware that his performances will soon grab the attention of several other teams, so they want to lock up a deal as soon as possible.
It will reportedly take a significant amount of money to persuade RCD Mallorca to let him go.
