Ex-Kotoko midfielder Richard Senanu joins Division One side Bekwai Youth Football Academy
Former Asante Kotoko Midfielder Richard Senanu has secured a move to Division One League side Bekwai Youth Football Academy.
The 27-year-old has been without a club after leaving the Porcupine Warriors in June 2020 after rejecting a new deal from Kotoko.
Senanu penned a short-term deal with the club following a fruitful negotiation.
The enterprising midfielder suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury in 2018 in a game against Cameroonian giants Coton Sport in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
After series of scans in the country, Richard Senanu was flew to Germany to start his rehabilitation process which sidelined him for more than a year.
He recovered from the injury setback and made just an appearance last season for Kotoko but contract renewal hit a snag.
He has therefore signed for thew Division One outfit on a short-term basis.
The midfielder will re-unite with his former coach Johnson Smith and former teammates Augustine Sefah.
