Excited Alhaji Grusah jabs Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh after King Faisal’s win in the FA Cup
King Faisal bankroller Alhaji Grusah after King Faisal’s 1-0 victory against Asante Kotoko didn’t waste time to drag coach Prosper Narteh with his usual jabs.
King Faisal dumped Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko from the ongoing MTN FA Cup on Wednesday afternoon.
This victory is the second win the Inshallah boys have secured against the Porcupine Warriors after their win against them in the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League.
In an interview with Richard Acheampong from Media General the experienced football administrator told coach Prosper Narteh that he is best suited in the classroom than on the football pitch.
“I never said we will use Kotoko to celebrate Christmas, I only said we will beat them. Our secret is the might of God and nothing else.’
“Prosper Narteh is a professor in education not football that’s why he still goes to the class to teach despite coaching Kotoko. We have professors in coaching but not in Ghana here unless Europe,’ Grusah concluded.
Both clubs will now turn their attention to the league, Kotoko will make a date with Aduana Stars while high flying King Faisal take on league newcomers Bibiani Gold Stars.
