Exclusive: Beitar Jerusalem in advanced talks to sign Ghana forward Richmond Boakye-Yiadom

Israeli Premier League side Beitar Jerusalem are closing in on a deal to sign Ghanaian forward Richmond Boakye-Yiadom in the summer transfer window, Footballghana.com can exclusively report.

The 28-year-old who joined Polish side Górnik Zabrze in January transfer window has parted ways with the club after a brief spell.

Footballghana.com understands that negotiations between the Ghanaian player and the club has been positive and is likely he will join them ahead of next season.

It is said Beitar Jerusalem encountered financial gaps negotiations with the striker, but owner Moshe Hogg decided to improve the financial offer to the player to secure his services.

Meanwhile, Boakye-Yiadom’s compatriot Edwin Gyasi who recently secured a move to the club has already told the striker about the club and had recommended he joins the team.

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom has had stints with several clubs in Europe including Atlanta, Red Star Belgrade, Juventus, Elche, Sassuolo, Genoa and others.
