FC Nordsjælland coach Flemming Pedersen confident team will do well despite losing Kamaldeen Sulemana

FC Nordsjælland head coach, Flemming Pedersen says his team will do well without Kamaldeen Sulemana despite his big influence last season.

The Ghana attacker was the club’s best player in the Danish Superliga last season.

On the back of his impressive campaign, Kamaldeen Sulemana has sealed a transfer to French Ligue 1 outfit Stade Rennais FC.

Speaking on the departure of the talented forward, coach Flemming Pedersen says his team will not be affected.

According to him, FC Nordsjaelland can now even play faster and take advantage of building a strong team bond amongst the players.

“It was with Kamaldeen that he sucked the balls to him, and it was for better or worse. On evil, I mean the game can go too slow if the same player gets involved too much. Therefore, we should be able to play even faster now and get even better relationships on the team,” the gaffer told tipsbladet.dk.

Coach Flemming Pedersen added, “I asked Kamaldeen after a match against SønderjyskE last season, where he was quarantined, whether he thought we played better or worse without him on the team. I think we played better without me,” he replied. That says a lot about “Kamal”. He could see from the outside that there was more interaction without him.”

Kamaldeen Sulemana, 19, has already marked his Stade Rennais FC debut in pre-season and could be a key player for the side in the French Ligue 1 next season.
