Felix Aboagye heaps praise on Otto Addo for qualifying Ghana for WC; tips gaffer to succeed in AFCON qualifiers
Former Ghana international, Felix Aboagye has given high praise to Black Stars head coach Felix Aboagye for qualifying the team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.
According to him, after that feat, the German-trained tactician will have smooth sailing in the qualifiers for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
“Even the World Cup we have qualified so going to the AFCON must not be a problem to Otto Addo.
“So far I think he has done a yeoman’s job, he has done very wonderfully well, qualifying Ghana to the World Cup,” Felix Aboagye told TalkSport in an interview.
The ex-Ghana international continued, “It’s a plus to him so qualifying to the AFCON 2023 should not be a worry to him.
“I think so far he has assembled a great team which I think he can pick the best 11 to represent Ghana.”
Later tonight, Coach Otto Addo will be in the dugout when Ghana hosts Madagascar in the first round of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers in Group E.
That game is scheduled to kick off at 19:00GMT at the Cape Coast Stadium.
