Franco-Ghanaian forward Grejohn Kyei sets Clermont Foot survival target
France-born Ghanaian forward Grejohn Kyei has sets his sight on helping his outfit Clermont Foot to survive relegation at the end of the French Ligue 1 campaign.
Kyei, who had a three seasons spell with Swiss club Servette FC sealed a six months loan deal on the winter transfer deadline day.
He has featured 4 times since arriving at the club but is yet to score for the club.
According to Kyei, he wants to help the club to maintain their status in the French top-flight at the end of the season.
“In Geneva, I was in the “cellar” (sic), here, they give me playing time to get out of it so I don’t put any pressure on myself”
“I come to help the team to obtain its maintenance in Ligue 1. Afterwards, I am a striker. A striker, he always wants to score or make assists, my personal goals are there” he said.
The 26-year-old scored 25 goals and provided 12 assists in 82 matches in all competitions (Super League, Swiss Cup, Europa League and Europa Conference League qualifications).
