Germany born right back Kingsley Schindler impressed FC Koln teammates in preseason

FC Koln right back Kingsley Schindler has put up impressive performances during the preseason, earning praise from the technical staff.

The 28-year-old was loaned out to Hannover in the previous campaign and his future at Koln was in doubt going into the campaign.

However, the player with Ghanaian roots has impressed everyone.

‘King’ is a good preparation,” said the head coach recently after the billy goats’ training camp ended.

Schlinder, who heard the coach’s comments, was pleased.

“The coach’s praise is confirmation of the work that has been done. It shows that I’m on the right track,” he stated on Express.

Schindler can switch allegiances to play for the Black Stars if he is called to do so.
