Ghana 2021 AFCON squad: Check out jersey numbers of all players in final squad
Ghana head coach, Milovan Rajevac has named his final 28-man Black Stars squad for the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament set to be staged in Cameroon.
The Serbian tactician a few weeks ago named a 30-man provisional squad to pitch camp in Doha, Qatar to prepare for the upcoming continental showpiece.
After making several assessments of players in and yet to report to camp, Coach Milovan Rajevac has settled on his final 28 man squad.
In an official communique from the Ghana FA, the names of the players have been announced accompanied by the assigned jersey numbers.
Goalkeeper Abdul Nurudeen Manaf has been handed the Number 1 jersey with first-choice goalie Joseph Wollacott set to wear the Number 16 jersey.
Andy Yiadom maintains his Number 2 jersey same as Thomas Partey who will be donning the iconic Number 5 jersey.
Meanwhile, talented teenager Abdul Fatawu Isshaku has been handed the Number 7 jersey as Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew keep their respective Number 10 and 9 jerseys.
