Ghana 2021 Afcon squad: Coach Milovan Rajevac won’t replace Ajax midfielder Kudus if he is ruled out of Afcon
If Mohammed Kudus is ruled out of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, no player would be called up to replace him.
Milovan Rajevac, coach of the Black Stars, is hoping that Ajax would agree to let Mohammed Kudus, who is recuperating from an injury he sustained during one of Ghana’s qualifying games.
However, if Ajax insists on keeping the dynamic midfielder, Rajevac has no plans to replace him.
Rajevac picked a 30-man provisional team and is anticipated to cut two players before submitting a 28-man final list on December 31, 2021.
The Black Stars is currently camping in Doha, Qatar with 7 outfield players and two goalkeepers.
A friendly game with a Qatar based club has been cancelled due to the number of players in camp.
