Ghana 2021 AFCON squad: Snubbed Jeffrey Schlupp on target for Crystal Palace in big win
Ghana international Jeffery Schlupp scored on Tuesday afternoon to help his Crystal Palace outfit to hammer Norwich City 3-0 in the English Premier League.
The versatile midfielder was snubbed by Ghana head coach Milovan Rajevac last week when he named his 30-man provisional squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Keeping his focus on club football, Jeffrey Schlupp put up an impressive display today when he featured for Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the game against Norwich City.
On the matchday, Odsonne Edouard opened the scoring for the hosts in the 8th minute before a strike from Jean-Phillipe Mateta in the 38th minute doubled the lead for the Eagles.
Five minutes later, Jeffrey Schlupp equalized to seal a 3-0 win for the hosts in the game that failed to produce any goal in the second half.
