Ghana among three AFCON-bound country’s training in Doha
Ghana is among three African Cup of Nations country’s preparing in Doha, Qatar for the much-anticipated tournament this week.
The four-time African Champions has been in the Asian country a couple of days as part of their preparations for the 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon.
The much-anticipated tournament will kick start January 9 as 24 country’s battles it out for the covetous trophy.
Ghana joins Algeria, and Gambia as three AFCON teams preparing for the tournament in Cameroon.
The three countries are scheduled to play several friendly matches before their departure to Central African country for the tournament.
Ghana are placed in Group C with Morocco, Comoros and will begin their campaign against Atlas Lions on January 10.
Algeria will compete with Sierra Leone, Equatorial Guinea, and Cote d’Ivoire in Group E during the opening round.
Gambia will start their campaign in Group F alongside Tunisia, Mali and Mauritania.
