Ghana-born midfielder Roberto Massimo joins German U21s despite injury
Ghana-born midfielder Roberto Massimo has joined the German U21 squad for the European Championship qualifiers despite harboring an injury.
The 20-year-old is deemed to have a minor injury but the Geraman medical team will reportedly run tests on the player before any potential involvement.
It is believed that he will be fit to represent the country during the international break. He could play against San Marino and Latvia.
Massimo has made three appearances for German top-tier side Stuttgart but is yet to register a goal or an assist. His current contract runs until 2023.
