Ghana captain Andre Ayew scores for Al-Sadd in 7-2 battering of Al-Shamal

Ghana international, Andre Ayew scored for Al-Sadd SC on Sunday evening to help the team to maul Al-Shamal 7-2 in the Qatari Stars League.

The Black Stars captain has been in outstanding form for his new club since he officially marked his debut for the team.

In a matchday four encounter of the Qatari Stars League today, Andre Ayew who started for his team did not let his manager down.

The forward displayed impressive form in the minutes he played and even scored in the 15th minute to increase the lead for the home team at the time they were leading 2-1.

On the matchday, Ali Assadalla opened the scoring for Al-Sadd SC in the 10th minute before Baghdad Bounedjah found the back of the net to double the lead for the side.

Although Mosel Al-Yazidi will pull one back for Al-Shamal, a dominant display by the host saw them cruise to a big 7-2 win courtesy of additional goals from Yousuf Abdurrisag, and Rodrigo Tabata.

Later in the final minutes of the game, Khalaf Saal AlMalki netted the second consolation goal for Al-Shamal.
