Ghana defender Gideon Mensah in line to start for Bordeaux against PSG today
Ghana international, Gideon Mensah is in line for a starting role today when Girondins de Bordeaux host PSG in the French Ligue 1.
The fitness of the player has been in question this past week with reports suggesting that he may not be ready for the tough clash against the league leaders.
With good work in training and in top shape, Gideon Mensah has been cleared for action.
As a result, the Black Stars defender is likely to be started by his head coach later tonight when Girondins de Bordeaux takes on PSG in what will be a matchday 13 encounter of the 2021/2022 French Ligue 1 season.
After the match, Gideon Mensah will travel to Ghana on Sunday to join other players invited to open camp on Monday for the international break.
Mensah will be part of the Black Stars squad that will face Ethiopia and South Africa in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
