Ghana Football Awards : Hearts of Oak Salifu Ibrahim wins Home-based Player of the Year award
Hearts of Oak Midfielder Salifu Ibrahim has been adjudged as Home based player of the year at the third edition of the Ghana Football Awards on Saturday.
The midfielder beat competition from Gladson Awako, Fabio Gama, Augestine Boakye, Samuel Abbey-Ashie and Ismail Abdul Ganiyu to win the award.
Salifu has made instant impact for the Phobians since making the switch from Techiman Eleven Wonders during the second transfer window.
With three matches to the end of the Ghana Premier League season, Ibrahim has seven Man of the Match awards.
He is also one of the leading assist providers of the season with 8 and has scored two goals.
