Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng misses Hertha Berlin match due to injury
Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng was not in action on Saturday because of an injury.
The 34-year-old missed Hertha Berlin’s match against Greuther Furth due to gastrointestinal discomfort.
In his absence, Hertha Berlin suffered a 2-1 defeat to Greuther Furth in week 22 of the German Bundesliga.
Since joining the German club from the Italian Serie B side AC Monza, the former Black Stars player has missed a lot of games due to injury.
Meanwhile, the club hopes he can get to full fitness next week.
“We hope that he can get fully involved next week,” Hertha Berlin coach Tayfun Korkut said.
He has been involved in 14 games, 12 in the league but has played just 462 minutes and scored no goal nor recorded an assist.
