Ghana international Daniel Kofi-Kyereh set sights on German Bundesliga promotion with St Pauli

Ghana international midfielder Daniel Kofi-Kyereh has set his sights on securing German Bundesliga promotion with his side St Pauli.

The 25-year-old has been outstanding in the ongoing Bundesliga 2 campaign scoring 5 times and providing 11 assists in 20 matches.

His impressive run of form earned him a call into the Black Stars for the 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon.

Kofi-Kyereh returned to the club with a thigh injury and has missed two games in a row.

He was not in action when his side played a 2-2 draw with FC Paderborn last weekend.

According to Kyereh, his aim is to play in the top-flight league with St Pauli.

“The plan is to play in the premier league. The plan is to level up. Those are my two plans,” said the 25-year-old on “Sky”.

Despite his contract running out in 2023, Kyereh is keen about the club’s promotion.

“My goal is to play in the top league. As I said, my wish is to climb with St. Pauli, that would be the best thing for all of us. As I said, that’s the plan floating in my head. You can think about everything else after the season.”
