Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan apologizes to Fiorentina fans after draw against Hellas Verona

Ghana international Joseph Alfred Duncan has apologized to Fiorentina fans following the side draw against Hella Verona last Sunday.

Duncan was in action in the Italian Serie A when Fiorentina played a 1-1 draw on home turf against Hellas Verona.

He was introduced in the 46th minutes but was unable to help huis side to victory.

Speaking after the game, Duncan apologized to the fans after failing to help the club secure a win against their opponent.

He added Fiorentina need to be more decisive in front of goal after wasting numerous goal scoring opportunities in the game.

“In the second half we took the game in hand, we wanted to win at all costs. There remains bitterness but it must be a lesson because in the first half we created less” he told the club’s website.

“We need to improve quickly in front of goal: in the last few games we are scoring few goals despite creating a lot”

“We have to be more decisive in the last meters. Hellas? They came with a different personality type and it’s hard to play against”

“However, these are the games in which to be even more focused and concrete. I am happy to have entered the game well, thanks to the two central players who allowed me to enter a lot. I’m sorry I didn’t win; it will be better next time. “
