Ghana midfielder Ebenezer Ofori joins Danish club Vejle BK from AIK
Ghana international Ebenezer Ofori will feature for Danish club Vejle BK after completing a loan move to the club from Swedish side AIK, Footballghana.com can report.
The 26-year-old who joined AIK in January 2020 from German side VfB Stuttgart failed to glitter featuring 17 times, five of which were from the start last season.
He has therefore been farmed out on loan until the end of the season and is expected to play a key role for the Superligaen outfit.
According to the Sports Director, Henrik Jurelius, Ofori’s performance since his return has not been satisfactory, hence the decision to farm him out on loan.
“When we sum up the playing time since the return, it is not satisfactory enough for either party. Therefore, it was a priority to find a solution and I wish Ebenezer all the best and also take the opportunity to pay tribute to his professionalism in tough times” he told AIK’s website.
Ebenezer Ofori has featured 7 times for the Black Stars scoring just ones since his debut in 2017.
