Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie not ruling out a return to Italy

Ghana international, Isaac Cofie says he is not ruling out a return to play in Italy although he is currently focused on doing his best to help Sivasspor.

Before his transfer to the Turkish Super Lig club in 2018, Isaac Cofie played in Italy where he spent eight years developing his game.

Now going into his fourth season in Turkey, the Ghana midfielder will have a big role to play for the team as they try to challenge the favourites in the league for the title.

Speaking on the imminent transfer of his compatriot Caleb Ekuban to Genoa, Isaac Cofie says he personally will not rule out following him later to Italy to play in the Serie A.

“Ekuban is a great buy. We are friends, we have known each other since the time of Chievo. For the fighting spirit he reminds me of Pavoletti, and he knows how to score.

“It is complete and fast, it can do everything. Come back too? It would be nice, never say never, but now I’m fine in Turkey,” Isaac Cofie said in an interview.

Before moving to Turkey, Cofie played for teams such as Carpi, Genoa, Torino, Sassuolo, as well as Chievo Verona.
