Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru climbs off the bench to score for Anderlecht

Ghana international Majeed Ashimeru came from the bench to score as Anderlecht extended their winning streak to four games in the Jupiler Pro League.

Ashimeru netted his second goal of the season last Tuesday in Anderlecht home win against Sint-Truiden.

The former WAFA star scored the last goal when the Purple & White recorded a 2-0 victory over Sint-Truiden at the Lotto Park.

Israeli international Lior Rafaelov opened the scoring in the 60th minute before the Ghanaian sealed the victory in the dying embers of the game.

The 24-year-old was introduced in the game to replace Rafaelov in the 89th minute of the game where he cemented the victory in the additional minutes.

He has scored two goals in 9 appearances in the Belgian top-flight this campaign.
