Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey on target for Arsenal in delightful 2-0 win against Leicester City
Ghana international Thomas Partey put up a starring performance on Sunday afternoon and scored to help Arsenal to defeat Leicester City 2-0 in the English Premier.
The Black Stars midfielder was a starter for the Gunners today when the team hosted the Foxes at the Emirates.
Following a bright start to the encounter, Thomas Partey scored with a powerful header in the 11th minute after connecting to a cross from in-form winger Gabriel Martinelli.
Later in the 59th minute, Alexander Lacazette equalized from the penalty spot to double the lead for Arsenal.
Despite the efforts from Leicester City in the second half, the team failed to get on the scoresheet and had to succumb to a 2-0 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.
