Ghanaian attacker Gilbert Koomson joining Norwegian outfit Bodo/Glimt
Footballghana.com can exclusively report that Ghanaian attacker Gilbert Koomson is set to complete a sensational move to Norwegian outfit Bodo/Glimt.
The exciting attacker last season left Norway when he sealed a transfer from SK Brann to Turkish Superliga side Kasimpasa.
Although he joined the club with a lot of promise, his stay in Turkey has not progressed as he envisaged.
On the back of interest from Norwegian Champions Bodo/Glimt, Gilbert Koomson is now in line to return to Norway.
He has reached an agreement to join the Norwegian top-flight league Champions and will this week finalize the deal.
“This is a case we have been working on for a long time. He has an edge with speed and he wanted to come to Glimt.
“In addition, he had a good finish in Brann and I think he is a player who fits well into our culture. It will be fun to work with him in the field and I think it is a very good Glimt signing,” this is the words of Bodo/Glimt coach Kjetil Knutsen.
Besides SK Brann, Gilbert Koomson also have experience from the Norwegian league having played for Sogndal in the past.
