Ghanaian attacker Thomas-Asante sent off after scoring for Salford in win against Colchester

English-born Ghanaian attacker, Brandon Thomas-Asante scored for his Salford FC outfit over the weekend when the team defeated Colchester United 2-0 in the Football League Two.

The attacker started for his team in the game played on Saturday to help the side battle for three points away from home.

After just 10 minutes into the first half, Brandon Thomas-Asante was presented with a good chance and made no mistake as he headed his effort into the back of the net of the home team.

Some 15 minutes later, Tom Elliot also equalized for Salford FC to double the lead for the side and give the team the advantage at the break.

Resuming the second half to continue their dominance, Brandon Thomas-Asante continued to excel until the last 10 minutes of the match.

He committed a bad foul and as a result received a red card as his punishment. He is now expected to miss two matches after the international break.
