Ghanaian-born striker Kelvin Yeboah gives reason for choosing Italy over Ghana
Ghanaian-born forward, Kelvin Yeboah says he feels more Italian than Ghanaian, hence his decision to play for the European country.
Yeboah, who currently ply his trade for Genoa turned down an invite to feature for the West African powerhouse last year andn opted to play for Italy U-21.
Explaining his decision to snub Ghana call up, he said, “I arrived in Italy when I was two, I grew up in Italy and I feel Italian. I started playing in the youth sectors of Novara and Gozzano, then I went to London, to West Ham”
“From there I decided to move to Austria, to start from the Austrian Serie B to go up more and more. Now the Genoa challenge, challenging and fascinating. We need the right energy,” he said as quoted by Calcionews24.
