Ghanaian defender Rashid Sumaila signs for Qatari second tier side Al Muaither FC

Ghanaian defender Rashid Sumaila has completed a move to Qatari second tier side Al Muaither FC.

The 29 year old joins the side until the end of the current season.

Rashid recently parted way with Omani side Saham Club after just two months at the club.

The defender has been training with his new club as he hopes to help them to secure promotion to the topflight League.

Sumaila moved to Kuwait in July 2015 from South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns after spending just a season. Before Sundowns, he played for Asante Kotoko and Ebusua Dwarfs in the Ghana Premier League.
